It started with wedding cakes
I grew up around a family business. My family is spread all over Europe, and I helped in my grandparents' company — 87 employees making wedding cakes and shipping chocolates worldwide. I learned early what a family enterprise really is: something that feeds people's celebrations, employs their neighbors, and gets handed down with care. It also taught me that behind every business, and every family, there's a question nobody likes to say out loud: what happens to all this if something happens to me?
Precision, learned at the dinner table
My parents were highly specialized multilingual translators, serving clients like BMW and Škoda for over twenty years. Watching them work taught me something I've never forgotten: attention to detail is the difference between ordinary service and exceptional service. One imprecise word in a contract can change its meaning entirely.
The same is true of an insurance policy. Waiting periods, conversion clauses, how cash value is credited, which health conditions a carrier forgives — the fine print is the product. Reading it carefully, so my clients don't have to, is the family trade continuing by other means.
Why insurance
I studied international politics and media & communications at university, but insurance is where my own questions found answers: how do I protect my family, and how do I invest in their future? My wife and daughter are my inspiration in everything. What I learned trying to protect them became a service I now provide for other families — and I want your family to feel as looked after as my own.
How I work
- Independent. I'm not tied to one carrier, which means I can place you where you'll actually be approved and fairly priced — and recommend against a product when it doesn't fit.
- An educator first. I'm a big believer in financial literacy. When we work together, you won't just get a policy — you'll understand it.
- For life. The first policy is the beginning of our work, not the end. My clients call me years later about a new grandchild, a move, a retirement date — and I pick up.
- Human, always. No call centers, no robot dialers, no handing your file to a stranger. When you call, you get me.
Away from the desk
You'll find me in the garden, tending my fruit trees. It's not so different from this work, honestly: you plant early, tend patiently, and think in seasons and generations rather than quarters. That's the approach I bring to every family I serve.
